November is traditionally a month of gratitude. It’s when we get together to celebrate what we have and try to make room to be grateful for the good things in our lives, big and small.
Gratitude calendars are a great way to help you tune in with the best parts of your life, and the things you’re most grateful to have. There aren’t many better ways to celebrate the harvest season, so let’s dive in.
One quick note before we get started on our gratitude calendar: Forcing yourself, or anyone else, to be grateful isn’t the goal here. If you, your family, or especially your kids are struggling to be grateful this month, that’s okay. Try to be mindful of opportunities to be grateful, but don’t stress yourself out trying to force it.
After all, gratitude feels best when it’s genuine and heartfelt.
To split a month into 30 days of gratitude might seem difficult, but these prompts will help you tune in to what’s going great in your life and might make it a little easier.
We’ve decided to split the 30 days groups of 6. That’s a little less than a week, but since November doesn’t line up with 4 weeks exactly anyway, this worked a little better. That’s 5 groups of things to be grateful for in your life. Here are the groups:
We tried to identify 5 groups of things that need a little love from time to time. This way you can direct your gratitude toward things that matter in addition to helping yourself feel better this month. Without further ado, here are your 30 days of Gratitude!
Our suggestion is to take a few minutes to think about these things and focus on how they make you feel, and how lucky you are to have them.
